Q: Why advertise on The Nordics?
A: Our unique community of candidates from The Nordic countries sits on a great mix of culture, languages and experiences. If you are looking for a friendly, hard-working and service-minded team member with fluent English, you have come to the right site. Q: Can I search your database of Candidates?
A: Yes, you can. Any registered employer posting a job ad on our site gets full access to browse our Candidate database for free. You can also contact the candidates directly via their profile page.

Job Posting
Q: How do I post a job ad?
A: You need to be registered member to post a job on The Nordics. Please log in and go to our Post a Job page and list your job there.

Q: Can I edit my job ad after it has been published?
A: Of course. Please go to your “My Dashboard” page and edit your ad from there.

Q: Can I post unpaid internship positions?
A: Go ahead. Some of our candidates are fresh out of school and excited to accumulate work experience in Australia. Use the different job categories to highlight the type of job and then post away.

Q: How do I pay for a job ad?
A: By credit card or PayPal. An invoice will be sent for your book keeping to the email you provided when register at The Nordics.

Q: My position has been filled, how do I remove my job ad?
A: Great! You can mark the position as filled, or delete the ad from your “My Dashboard” page.

Q: Does it cost to register at The Nordics?
A: No, it is free to register to become a member of our community.

Q: How much does it cost to post a job?
A: Please refer to our Pricing page for prices.

Q: Do you offer discounts if I post multiple jobs?
A: Yes. You can buy ad packages that saves you money. If you are a company with high turnaround of people, please contact us and we can discuss packages with unlimited ad postings.

Q: What happens if my listing expires and I have not found the right person yet?
A: This sometimes happens. Let us know and we will be happy to either help you re-post the ad, credit you with another ad, or refund the money you spent with us.

Q: What information should I include in my Profile?

Q: How do I update my Profile?
A: Via the “My Dashboard” page. From here, you can see your posted resumes and update them.

Q: Who can see my Profile details?
A: Registered employers who posted a job ad can access to the candidate database of resumes and profiles. They can use the contact form on your resume page to contact you via email. Your profile will also be visible to the employer when you apply for a job.

Job Search
Q: How do I search for a job?
A: Via the Search for a Job page. From here, you can search by free text, and also filter by category, job type and location.

Q: What if I can’t find any suitable openings?
A: If you could not find a desired job to apply for today, please come back in a few days again. New postings are posted every day, so check back soon.

Q: I’m not looking for a job anymore. Should I cancel my account and remove my resume?
A: Yes please, as this would help employers looking for available candidates. Where and How?

Q: Can I save my job searches that I am interested in?
A: You can bookmark jobs that you are interested in. These then show up under the “My Bookmarks” tab on the “My Account” page.

Q: How can I report a questionable job posting?
If you feel a company is not ethical or not treating you properly, please bring it to our attention. We reserve the right to refuse them service.

Application Process
Q: How do I apply for a job?
A: By clicking the orange button “Apply For Job” on the job ad itself, and then filling out and submitting the form that pops up. Once you press “Send”, an email will be sent to the employer.

Q: Can I apply to more than one position?
A: Yes, you can apply for as many jobs as you want.

Q: How can I confirm that my application has been submitted?
A: We send you a confirmation of your application via email when you apply for a job.

Q: I have applied for a job at The Nordics. Can I expect to receive a personal response?
A: We hope so. Once you have submitted your application, it is in the hands of the employer. If you are curious of how things progress you can use the employer’s contact information in their job ad to contact them directly with your question.

Q: Can I modify my Job Application information at any time?
A: Once you have submitted the application, it cannot be recalled and edited. But you can contact the employer if you need to update your application details.

Q: Can I withdraw my job application after it has been sent?
A: No, unfortunately. If you are offered an interview, you can always decline and explain that you are not interested. Most employers appreciate that you are pursuing several jobs in parallel.

Q: Can I see the jobs I have applied for?
A: The jobs you have applied for will be highlighted with a green tick in the Job Browser. You will also receive a copy in your email of all job applications you have submitted via our site.

Q: How can I become an affiliate and start earning money?
A: When you create an account on The Nordics, you are automatically given the ability to partake in our Affiliate Program. If you want to be a part of it, please follow the instructions on our Affiliate Program page.

Q: Will my contact information be sold to any third parties?

Q: What is the best way to get hold of you?
A: Email is our preferred way to contact us, but if you matter is urgent you are best to call us. Please refer to the Contact page where you find all our contact information.
